IFA/Sweden

IFA/Sweden is a non-profit association with approximately 200 members and is affiliated with the International Fiscal Association (IFA). The organisation’s objective is to study and further develop international and comparative tax law from an academic perspective.

IFA/Sweden appoints Swedish national reporters to the annual international IFA Congress and organizes activities such as lunch, evening and full-day seminars on tax law. The IFA Board is currently working to increase the number of activities and to make them available in different parts of Sweden. The membership fee for 2026 is SEK 810, of which SEK 200 is allocated to IFA/Sweden and the remainder to the IFA central organisation. Members who are under the age of 30 as of 1 January 2026 pay a reduced fee of SEK 375. Corporate members pay SEK 5,000, of which SEK 400 is allocated to IFA/Sweden. Corporate membership includes participation for two individuals in international activities and an unlimited number of participants in Swedish events, subject to availability. For each additional membership held by the same company, a fee of SEK 2,165 applies.
